Wild Acres Barley is the premium heavy feed for your horse on a cold winters’ morning, it is so fresh you will want to grab a bowl of milk and join in with your mate! Wild Acres Barley is packed full of nutrition and is a rich source of protein and energy as well as vitamins and minerals.

Because of its lower fibre content and harder kernel compared to oats, barley should be cooked or rolled before feeding and some horses may not like the taste of raw barley so cooking or adding a touch of molasses will ensure your horse gets the most out of this amazing natural grain.

Be careful not to crush barley to finely or your horse may develop symptoms of colic. When used correctly Wild Acres Barley will put a shine on your equine friend and give them the energy and stamina to perform at their best.
